2007年6月,石家庄铁道大学数学与应用数学专业学士毕业;2016年12月,重庆大学控制理论与控制工程专业硕博连读后获得工学博士学位;2017年1月至今,四川轻化工大学36365路检测中心任教。
主要从事自动化、智能控制、物联网、信息安全领域的研究。近年来,主持研究项目6项,其中省科技厅1项,教育厅1项,人工智能四川省重点实验室重点项目1项,四川理工学院人才引进项目1项,教改项目2项。已发表论文20余篇,获得发明专利1项。
2019年8月获批国家自然科学青年基金项目。
2017年度及2018年度四川轻化工大学教职工考核优秀人员;2017-2018学年获评36365路检测中心最受欢迎老师;2018-2019学年36365路检测中心推荐优秀教师。
主讲本科生的《单片机原理及应用》及《现代控制原理》课程,研究生的《算法导论》及《线性系统理论》课程。

Xiaogang Wang was born in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, China in 1984. He received the B. S. degree in Mathematics from Shijiazhuang Railway Institute, Shi Jiazhuang, China, in 2007. He received the M.S. degree and the Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Weiren Shi. He is currently a lecturer, with Artificial Intelligence Key Laboratory of Sichuan Province, School of Automation and Information Engineering, Sichuan University of Science and Engineering. He is the author of more than 20 articles. He is funded by 6 projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (grant no. 61902268), Sichuan Science and Technology Program (Grant No.2018JY0197), et al. He is the editor of the International Journal of Sensors and Sensor Networks (ISSN: 2329-1796) and a reviewer of three international journals. He is invited as the Bentham ambassador of Bentham Science Publisher in 2020. He is a member of China Automation Society. He is going to be a visiting scholar of University of Calgary, Canada for one year in 2020.
